Carnival Friday

Winter Carnival in Fort Resolution - these are photos from some of the kids events - leap frog, three-legged race, and egg toss. The last photo is of a little fella who sat next to me during the talent show, and slept most of the time. He is dressed in a traditional outfit, waiting for his turn to compete in the Traditional Dress contest. I left before that came on, so I'm not sure yet who won. I had arrived at the talent show at 6:15pm, and it started sometime after that. It went on for hours and hours though and at 10pm, there were still 3 or 4 events left...yawn...I was too tired, my head hurt from all the noise, and my eyes were dried out of my skull...so I missed the Traditional Dress...
