Remember The Canoe Course?

Well, I finally got my hands on some photos from one of the instructors...

Here we are, my friend R. and I, canoeing past the steamboat the SS Klondike, in the Yukon River. The Klondike is a museum now in Whitehorse.

This is a photo of us going down the Takhini River with the mountains finally coming out of the clouds somewhat...

The next one is the resident teen, standing onshore as her mother paddles into the eddy before the jaws of death rapids...

and then there I am, paddling through the jaws of death with Bob, one of the instructors...we made it just fine!

And the last one is Bob Daffe, our instructor...very funny and skilled guy...we learned so much!
