Winter Has ARRIVED

Make no mistake about it - winter has arrived in the territory...and it is still snowing heavily. Wouldn't you know it, I am due to drive to Hay River this afternoon, a 155km drive (one way) in which about 50kms of it is dirt road...not gravel, slimy clay and dirt. Good thing I'm an excellent driver (rainman). Nothing to be afraid of for this down east gal...been through MORE than my share of blizzard conditions for driving, and made it safe and sound. The key is simple:

SLOW THE FUCK DOWN. Which of course, I always do...(in snow)
