Water Water Everywhere

One of the tourist routes in the NWT is known as the Waterfalls Route, for good reason. Several stunning waterfalls are along the way, easily accessible on foot. I've been to most of them now, but the one elusive one is Virginia falls, and I must take a small plane or helicopter to get there. Here are several photos from Sambaa Deh Falls, and Coral Falls on the Trout River. The river has eaten away at the riverbank over the years, and now it's quite overhung, so they put signs up to keep the dumb asses from falling into the river...it is bound to happen regardless of the signage.
