Life Is Too Short - Eat Cherries

I was at the grocery store today to get some milk. Fresh fruit caught my eye as I ate the last of what I had last night. Cherries are in stock...and I am not the only one eyeing up what's left in this tiny grocery store. We both complain about the price - ugh...$9.87/kg...so each bag is about $12. The cherries pictured above cost me $12.34. I went to the checkout and the Filipino lady that I usually see on the cash register there notices the price when she rings it in. I tell her, yeah, I know, they are expensive...but I don't smoke and rarely drink, so this is my splurge. She tells me, of course - life is too short not to eat cherries...
